Time To Let Go
The Suttons find out that if no one claims the mysterious money in 30 days then it’s theirs to keep. Tay gets a bit too excited about this news and goes on a secret shopping spree that includes buying a full-size pool table. Charles is still upset with Marla and decides to go find his real father, much to her dismay. Cassie goes with him, against Eddie and Jenn’s wishes. Charles meets his father, Wes, and his family, including his half-brother, Travis. They all get along really well so Charles decides he’s going to stay a while, sending Cassie back to Lincoln Heights to face her awaiting punishment. Lizzie decides to join the Lincoln Outreach as a volunteer and meets a little boy named Gabriel who is being bullied. Andrew and Marco, other volunteers, encourage her to take Gabriel under her wing. When Lizzie takes home Gabriel’s torn teddy bear to fix, she is attacked and the bear is ripped open revealing that it’s been hiding drugs. Also, there is a Bandana Bandit in Lincoln Heights who seems to be redistributing the wealth by stealing fruit and supplies off delivery trucks and bringing them to places of need, like the Free Clinic and homeless shelters.
