When Jake’s store is hit by the Bandana Bandit, he gets the neighborhood watch to offer a reward for anyone who catches him. Tay and Malik see this reward as a way for Tay to keep the pool table he bought and they set out to find the Bandit. Lizzie gets nervous with Gabriel when he doesn’t come to the Outreach Center. Marco tells her that he’s home so Lizzie goes to find him to take him to the Center. Gabriel’s aunt tells her that he and his mom went back to Mexico, but it ends up that Marco is hiding them until he can get them safe passage. Tay and Malik go to the Outreach in search of someone who knows the martial art moves the Bandit has been seen doing, and report Marco to Jake and the police when he fits the descriptions of the Bandit. They arrest Marco, until Andrew turns himself in as the real Bandit. Lizzie realizes that Jake has dropped the charges and is suddenly helping Marco get Gabriel and his mom out safely, and that Andrew was just a distraction. Everything in Charles’ new family seems great when Travis invites Charles to a fancy family event, but all that changes when Wes introduces Charles as his nephew, to avoid tarnishing his public image. Charles breaks down and Cassie begs Eddie, who is still upset with her about running off with Charles, to take her to find him. When they get there, Charles is so emotional he doesn’t know what to do, and Eddie helps him rise above to be a better man than his father. Eddie and Cassie bring Charles back to Lincoln Heights to be with the Suttons, which is where he belongs.
