Catch An All-Black Table Read Of “Friends” Hosted By Gabrielle Union and Starring Sterling K. Brown, Uzo Aduba + More

If you love “Friends,” you’re in for a treat! An all-Black table read of the classic sitcom debuts tonight.

The series aired from 1994 to 2004 and starred Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc.

Gabrielle Union will host the table read and Salli Richardson-Whitfield will direct. The cast features Uzo Aduba as Phoebe, Jeremy Pope as Chandler, Aisha Hinds as Monica, Ryan Bathe as Rachel, Kendrick Sampson as Joey, and Sterling K. Brown as Ross.

They will reenact the episode titled “The One Where No One’s Ready,” from the third season.

This is the second reading from the  “Zoom Where It Happens” series which supports Michelle Obama’s “When We All Vote” initiative. In September, they featured the hit series “Golden Girls” where Sanaa Lathan, Alfre Woodard, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Regina King played the legendary seniors.
