Warner Bros. is looking to add some color to its next “Superman” film!
According to reports, the production company is seeking a Black actor to play the lead role of Superman for the upcoming film.
They also claim that Warner Bros. wants a Black director to lead the project as well.
Currently, J.J. Abrams will produce the project and author Ta-Nehisi Coates has signed on to write the screenplay.
While the lead role and director spots haven’t been filled yet, past rumors revealed that Michael B. Jordan might be their top option.

Others suggest that after making her directorial film debut with “One Night In Miami,” Regina King should direct the new “Superman” film.
People have also mentioned “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler, but his hands may be tied with “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” which will be released on July 8, 2022.
