Daddy Issues
Now that Cynthia and D’Andre are officially engaged, their relationship is on-off – then on again as Cynthia is still learning what it means to trust a man. In addition to Cynthia’s up and down relationship with D’Andre (he wants to move away to another city), as Allison had alluded to her mother having an addictive personality (smoking and drinking), she too has addictive traits. Allison has spent a lot of her money paying off tons of credit card debt but now that she doesn’t have those bills, her new addiction is that she likes to gamble and her money is being siphoned away by slot machines, lottery tickets and every other game of chance, which brings some conflict into the home. Meanwhile, Elliot Ross is interspersed as a potential love-interest of Allison. Allison abruptly announces that she is going to move out of the family home.
