Go Somewhere & Sit Down! The Proud Boys Threaten Production In Upcoming Colin Kaepernick Drama Series

Do these people have anything better to do?

According to The Jasmine Brand, a new Netflix mini-series about Colin Kaepernick has received threats from The Proud Boys. And we all remember them, you know, the neo-fascist, far-right, male-only white nationalist organization that stormed the capital and promotes political violence in the U.S. and Canada.

Sources close to the production reported that The Proud Boys planned to protest during last Friday’s production shoot.

Two production assistants also report that a suspicious phone call was made to the production office last week. There are no further details on what was said at the time of the call.

Both Colin Kaepernick and the Academy Award-nominated director Ava DuVernay will serve as executive producers for the drama series which explores his high school years.

They’ll also share the experiences that led to Kaepernick’s activism.

Neither DuVernay nor Kaepernick has yet to respond to the alleged threat, we truly hope that this group finds more productive ways to use their time.
