‘I Lost Everything’ Stacey Dash Admits To Spending Up To $10K A Month To Fund Her Opioid Addiction

Stacey Dash is walking in her truth!

The “Clueless” star details a life completely opposite of her role as Dionne in the 1990 cult classic during a recent sit-down with Dr. Oz.

“I was taking 18-20 pills a day,” said the 54-year-old in the interview. She revealed her secret pill-popping addiction and how it made her lose everything.

When Dr. Oz noted that 18 to 20 Vicodin pills a day was expensive, Dash tearfully responded with, “Yeah, I lost everything.”

Hydrocone or Vicodin is an opioid prescription painkiller that is often given to patients to treat moderate to severe pain. Per reports, those who weigh over 100 pounds should take no more than two 2.5 or 5 milligram tablets every four to six hours.

Per Dash, she spent anywhere from five to ten grand a month on pills and says that this addiction was her “deepest, darkest secret.”

Dash also detailed abuse that she encountered for a past boyfriend during her early twenties. It was so bad that she was once left with a broken arm

“He would beat me so bad, I couldn’t get out of bed for two weeks,” she continued. “I couldn’t walk – [he broke- my arm, tied me to the bed for three days. Some part of me thought that’s what I deserved.”

It was moments like these that caused Dash’s faith to waver. She admits that it was God who helped her to remain sober although it wasn’t an easy feat.

“This has not been easy…There have been days where I’ve spent the entire day on my knees and didn’t move until I felt God fill that hole inside of me,” she expressed.

She further explains that the fight remains in her.

“Do I have to fight for it? Sometimes, yeah,” Dash continued. “Are there moments when I wake up and I’m like, ‘This is a bad day. I want to do something bad.’ I know if I get on my knees and I pray that Jesus will help me – he has for five years.”

Shoutout to Stacey Dash for being brave to open up about her addiction.
