Issa Rae, Eddie Murphy, Viola Davis & More Win BIG At Last Night’s Celebration of Black Excellence During The NAACP Image Awards!

We love any chance to celebrate Black excellence!

Last night’s 52nd NAACP Image Awards was nothing short of that! The honors kicked off on Wednesday (March 24) with Blair Underwood, Marsai Martin, Method Man, and more receiving awards throughout the week in the non-televised categories. Last night was the perfect ending to days of celebrating Black excellence!

We witnessed a special performance by Jazmine Sullivan and Maxwell’s performance of “Ascension,” the hit song released over 20 years ago, took us to new heights.

The night ended with Eddie Murphy being inducted in the NAACP Hall of Fame by his partner in comedy, Arsenio Hall.
