Jimmy Fallon makes it right!
During the March 26th episode of “The Tonight Show,” TikTok star Addison Rae joined the late show to give viewers a tutorial on the latest dances on the app. But one thing was missing — the Black creatives who came up with the moves!
After receiving backlash for not giving credit to the Black creators, Fallon attempts to make things right.

“On our last show before break, we did a bit with Addison Rae where she taught me eight viral TikTok dances,” said Fallon.
“Now, we recognize that the creators of those dances deserve to have their own spotlight. So right now, some of the creators will join me to talk about how their dance went viral and then perform the dance themselves.”
Dancers Mya Nicole Johnson and Chris Cotter joined Fallon to talk about creating the moves to “Up.”
He also spoke with Dorien Scott of “Corvette Corvette” fame, Fur-Quan Powell and Camyra Franklin of “Laffy Taffy,” and Keara Wilson, who’s responsible for creating the moves to “Savage.”
We’re so happy to see these Black creators receiving the recognition that they deserve!
