Kanye West Lands Deal At Netflix For $30 Million, Is A Documentary In The Works?

We’re about to get the inside scoop on all things Kanye!

According to reports, the rapper has inked a deal with Netflix for a multi-part docuseries that sources claim has been in the works for more than 20 years.

The project was acquired for $30 million.

Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah — known as Coodie & Chike will allegedly spearhead the series. The pair is responsible for working with Kanye on his early music videos for songs, “Through The Wire,” and the third version of “Jesus Walks.”

While a name for the documentary has not been released, those close to the project say the film will highlight the story of Kanye’s rise to success. It’ll focus on how he dealt with the death of his mother, Donda West.

It will also shed light on his career as a fashion designer and his unsuccessful run for President in 2020.

The project is set to be released later this year.
