Eight people are dead following a shooting in Atlanta yesterday (March 16).
Investigations have begun as police search for answers after a spree of shootings at Atlanta-area massage parlors.
Six of the victims were Asian and many believe they were targeted because of their race. The other two victims were white, The New York Times reports.
All victims were women with the exception of one male.
Four people were killed in the first shooting at Young’s Asian Massage near Acworth, a northwest suburb of Atlanta.

The bodies of three women were found with gunshot wounds after police responded to a robbery at Gold Spa northeast of the city. Another body of a woman was found directly across the street at Aromatherapy Spa after reports of shots fired.
A 21-year-old white man was taken into custody after authorities released a surveillance image that placed the suspect near a Hyundai Tucson outside of one of the massage parlors. He was found about 150 miles south of Atlanta in Crisp County following a manhunt.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of each and every one of the victims.
