Simone Biles is truly that girl!
According to CNN Sports, the USA Gymnastics star made history on Sunday (June 6) after she took home her seventh national women’s all-around title at the US Gymnastics Championships in Fort Worth, Texas.
At 24-years-old, Biles has now logged more U.S. titles than any other female gymnast.
Biles is also expected to be the linchpin of the USA Women’s Gymnastics team during this summer’s Tokyo Olympics.
In last night’s competition, she took home a score of 119.650, 4.7 points ahead of runner-up Sunisa Lee.
Her teammate, Jordan Chiles, finished third with a score of 114.50.
“I feel like I did try to enjoy it because it could be one of my last championships that I’ll attend,” said Biles. “But it’s also the road to Tokyo, and after this we have trials, so we just have to really embrace the moment.”
The world champion often pushes herself further with out-of-this-world tricks.

After her debut of so many daredevil tricks, Biles now has four skills officially named after her.
When the 2020 Olympics were postponed as a result of the pandemic, Biles not only trained harder, but she tested more skills like the double-layout, double-tuck.
“I feel like every single championship stands out for a different reason, but this one stands out specifically because it’s the road to Tokyo,” continued Biles. “We came out here, and we did what we were supposed to.”
The US Olympic team trials are set to be held in St. Louis June 24-27 and the Tokyo Olympics are slated to start in late July.
We can’t wait to see Simone Biles continue to show up and show out in all of her #BlackGirlMagic at this summer’s games!
