Kanye West pays homage to the late DMX in a huge way!
Per reports, West’s Yeezy fashion brand partnered with the high-end fashion brand, Balenciaga to create a custom-made tribute shirt in memory of the late rapper.
To date, the shirts raised over $1 million dollars with all proceeds going to DMX’s family.
According to the “How It’s Going Down” rapper’s Instagram account, Kanye West specifically asked Balenciaga to design the shirt.

The t-shirt includes a photo of DMX with ‘R.I.P.” above the photo and crosses on both sides. His date of birth is located on one sleeve and the day of his death on the other sleeve.
“In Loving Memory” is displayed across the back of the shirt.
DMX, born Earl Simmons, died April 9, just a few days after being rushed to a hospital in White Plains, NY following a heart attack.
The shirts went on sale following his memorial service, attended by hip-hop legends Nas, Swizz Beatz, Eve, and more at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
The shirts sold out in 24 hours and were priced at $200 on the website DMX-tribute.com.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all of his loved ones during this time.
