The talent in this family runs deep!
A Black woman is now the highest-paid player in National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) History— and she just so happens to be Dennis Rodman’s daughter.
Trinity Rodman signed what has been reported as the richest player soccer deal with the Washington Spirits. She also made history as the youngest player to be drafted to the NWSL. According to ESPN, Rodman extended the initial deal she signed as a rookie last year through the 2024 season with an option for 2025.
Rodman, daughter of NBA Hall of Famer and former Chicago Bulls Power Forward, Dennis Rodman, doubled over into tears when she saw that her estranged father, was in attendance at her inaugural game.
The 19-year-old recounted the moment in an emotional Instagram post.
“This last game was an extremely emotional one. Yes, Dennis Rodman showed up to an NWSL game, but also my dad, after YEARS surprised me at a big game in my career, I was shocked, overwhelmed, happy, sad, everything,” she penned in the caption.

Rodman continues on her historic run, leading the Spirit to victory at the 2022 championship. She was also named the Young Player of the Year and closed out her monumental year with an invite to play on the national level with the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT).
Trinity Rodman will earn over $1.1 million for the next three seasons with the Washington Spirits.
