“Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period,” wrote Vanessa Bryant. “I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you’re a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”
Meek Mill previously responded to chatter on the Internet about the leaked song featuring Atlanta Rapper, Lil Baby.
“Somebody promo a narrative, and ya’ll follow it — ya’ll internet antics can’t stop me…sh** like zombie land or something! Lol,” wrote the “Dreams and Nightmares” rapper in a tweet. ” They paying to influence ya’ll now… it’s almost like mind control, ‘wake up.'”
He has since apologized to Vanessa Bryant.
“I apologized to her in private earlier today, not to the public,” he continued in a tweet. “If you care about someone grieving, change the subject.”
I apologized to her in private earlier today not to the public…Nothing I say on my page directed to a internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman! If you care about someone grieving change the subject!
