Following the success of last year’s inaugural celebration, this week-long event is back with even more exciting content, bringing the essence of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) straight to your screens.

This year, aspireTV is raising the bar with a diverse slate of programming that highlights the legacy, culture, and excellence of HBCUs. You’ll dive deep into stories of pre- and post-graduation life through original shows like HBCU 101, with new episodes hosted by Jahliel Thurman, featuring impactful interviews with alums like entrepreneur and founder of Slutty Vegan, Pinky Cole. You’ll also revisit the energy of HBCU marching bands with reruns of 6 Minutes to Glory: The HBCU Band Experience and The Graduates: NYC, showcasing the perseverance and passion of recent HBCU graduates.

 

But the celebration isn’t limited to what’s on TV—aspireU: HBCU Spirit Week brings fans and followers into the action with interactive social media challenges! The Top HBCU Bracket gives followers a chance to vote for their favorite HBCU, adding a competitive and fun twist to the week’s festivities.
